DON'T CALL IT A COMEBACK.
The Sky’s The Limit for this aromatic, zippy wine made from an indigenous Italian grape called Famoso. Get this: Famoso means “famous” in Italian, but chances are you haven’t yet heard of this grape. So what gives? Well, after almost going completely extinct and flying under the radar for years, this wine is back and better than ever.

In this wine, you’ll find an intense bouquet of jasmine, orange blossom, hawthorn, peach, apricot, and apple.

A FRAGRANT WINE WITH AN INCREDIBLE STORY.

Famoso is an ancient grape variety that, ironically, went out of style for a long time. But not unlike jean jackets, it’s back and you can trust that it isn’t going anywhere.

Here’s the scoop: in the early 2000s, there were a measly 2 rows of vines left of Famoso in Northern Italy. Local wine producers discovered the obscure vines and decided they couldn’t let them die. Together, they gave Famoso new life and now several local winegrowers are cultivating this interesting grape.

From its start in 1437 to its revival in 2009, thanks to a group of passionate Italian winegrowers, Famoso is back in business. If that doesn’t deserve a toast, we don’t know what does

FAMOUSLY FLORAL

So what is Famoso famous for, then? It’s that distinct floral aroma that jumps from the glass. Hawthorn, jasmine, honeysuckle, and orange blossom are all signature moves of Sky’s The Limit.

See which ones you can detect with your very own bottle of this rare Italian wine.
